Do you ever wonder why we do the things we do? We let people in our lives that repeatedly take us for granted and walk on us like our emotions and souls are those worth playing with. Like toy puppets dangling from strings we go day in and day out letting others whom we choose to continue to associate with run our lives like the puppet masters they portray so well. As I have said before, I put an end to that. Rose coloured glasses have firmly fallen off and the world around is falling into place. Those who show true character, are still standing. Those who care and seek out someone for the individual they are. Gone is the drama that once took over my entire livelihood. It is starting to become calmer, clearer and more serene. In turn, I am starting to find the true me again. Someone that was lost under and the footprints of those who walked on my back. Or furthermore needed to be carried on my back. Taking a step back and enriching yourself with the knowledge that it is once again safe to be what you ultimately are without holding things in for the fear that lives within each of us. The fear of lonliness, unacceptance and chastising. Sure there are days where darkness covers again clouding the reasonings I have made. Wondering if I am really and truly seeing things through iridesent light rather then rose coloured. Happiness is around every corner and all one needs to do each and every single day is choose that happiness over the the cloudy periods of self doubt. Anyways, enough ramblings. Not even really sure if there was a point to all of this other then I am finally becoming happy. Safe in the knowledge that I can be myself. My true self and yes there are people still standing around me to accept that.

So, last week I coached my sister while giving birth to her daughter. Took alot of last minute decision to do this. See, she gave her up for adoption. I have cried and begged her to give the baby to me but, seems life doesnt always work the way you want it to. I was very angry at her for a very long time for doing this and making this decision. I just don't understand at almost 27 years of age how she could do it. However, I am really glad I went to watch her give birth. It didnt exactly give me closure or anything as I still struggle with it. But, I got to watch my very brave sister do something that is obviously the most increadibly hard thing she has ever had to do in her life. I feel selfish because for the first time in those 9 months I finally understood and I actually felt better seeing her riddled with emotion because I thought granted falsely that she didnt care for the child and that is why she gave it up. Anywhoo I have a gorgeous new neice. Finley Irene Gilbert. If anyone who reads this would like to see pictures or get more of the story just message me. I just got a whoooooolllllle lot of pics from my mom tonight and it has once again brought up a little bit of pain so I really dont feel like writing any thing else.
To my dearest Finley,

So, it was my birthday once again. LOL Didn't do much today. Got some gifts the boys made me, played games with them on the puter. Had a wonderful dinner Micah made me and some Black Forest Cake. yummmmmmmm. Have a birthday party coming on Saturday. My sister and my brother whom has his actual birthday on the 29th are coming up. As well as my best friend growing up Rachel. They are all staying over night. My friends Crystal, Randy, Bubbles, his bro maybe Morgan and his sweetie, Paige and Trent so many people are coming out. We are going to the Toad and Turtle first so I can introduce everyone as Rachel has not seen my sister or brother since we were in highschool. Which means she has not seen my brother since he was 7 years old. Lol He is turning 21 this year. Then we are off to the Lion's Den for karaoke and then dancing at Bellini's. Of course Micah is coming. His mother was supposed to babysit but of course backed out at last minute which some how I knew she was going to do. But luckily my babysitter's plans fell through and now she will be watching the twins and my ex will have the boys. Going shopping during the day with Randy and Rachel and Crystal as all my size 6 pants are too big now and I need to have at least something I can wear that won't fall off while I am dancing or singing. I can not wait. I am very excited for this birthday and turning 32 is still not bothersome to me. I love being a woman in her early 30's. It is an amazing time in my life. Anywhoo really late need some sleep. I will post again after the party and tell all.
